Statistics show what a person believes rarely changes after the age of 13. This is also scriptural. As Proverbs 22:6 states, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” (NIV) It is our vision that we not only introduce children to Jesus but see them grow in their personal relationship with Him. We desire as they progress through the children’s ministry that they Know, Grow, Serve, and Share Christ.
We are training kids to be leaders of this generation and to make a difference today, not only at church but in their schools, teams, and neighborhoods. The great commission is not limited by one’s age rather by one’s willingness to obey. Each year we take a group of 6th graders on a student led mission trip where they prepare and deliver over 1,800 sack lunches a day. During this same week, they lead a V.B.S. and share their faith with kids their own age. This past year our 6th graders led 41 kids to Christ.
Yes, our vision is to Empower Kids to Lead Today and we do everything we can to help them on this spiritual journey! We realize the greatest investment in the lives of kids is what takes place at home. This is why we want to partner with parents as their kids mature in our ministry.
